In 1824 a small country brewery opened in Grevenstein that brewed beer in accordance with the German Purity Law. Over 180 years later it is now the side of one of Europe's most modern private breweries, C. & A. VELTINS Brauerei.
This unique success story of five generations of management by the Veltins family is one of investing in the future, entrepreneurial vision and a company culture of team spirit combined with the highest quality standards. Today's premium beer is made exclusively of top-quality ingredients – malt, hops, yeast and the purest spring water, brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. The water from the mountains around Grevenstein is extraordinarily soft. This is one of the main reasons why Veltins has been brewing Pilsener beer since 1926: Veltins Premium Pilsener.
